The Meaning of Taqwa/God-Consciousness | Words of Guidance (English)

He reminds us of the Qur’anic verse: “Indeed, the one who is most God-conscious among you is the most honored near Allah.” He explains that to truly hold taqwa in your heart is to hold a deep and abiding love for the Imam and his Dai — ta’at. This is the deepest form of respect - to hold their word above all others. And it is the essence of taqwa.
