Namaaz & Doa App

We are pleased to present the Namaaz & Doa App, the latest iteration of the first app developed for mumineen, now built better to help everyone with namaaz and doa – removing all barriers to prayer. Now available on Android, IOS, and iPadOS!

Main features:

• Namaaz prayer times based on your current location with manual and automatic location settings
  • Azzan and Namaaz Alerts: Pressing the speaker button on top of the Namaaz schedule allows you to enable notifications and/or Azaan audio for Namaaz times. Make sure your relevant permissions are enabled for the Azaan to play (for Android phones, the instructions are listed below).
• Doa Library with over 700 texts. Phonetics (transliteration), and Dawat ni Zaban & English translations along with audio playback. Doas include: Wuzu, Namaaz, Hafti, Fajr, Shehrullah, Bihori, Marsiya, Qasidas, Munajaats, and the entire Holy Quran.
  • Bookmarks: Each doa can be bookmarked by clicking on the White Star icon on the top bar of the doa, when a doa is opened. You can write a custom message in the bookmark as well with any details you wish to save. You can save the bookmark by Doa and save the line number as well, so you can continue praying from there the next time (audio will also continue from there). The bookmarks can later be viewed by either clicking on the Green Star icon on the Library page or by pressing More > Bookmarks on your navigation bar.
  • Line numbers can be enabled by pressing the language selection on a doa then enabling the Line Number option. This makes it easy for you to stop/start in the middle of doas.
  • Loop Modes: You can enable Loop Mode while listening to a doa if you want to listen to it multiple times. This is especially useful while trying to memorize Quran, Qasidas, or doas. To enable Loop Mode press on the loop icon on the audio bar when you are viewing a doa. You can either loop the entire doa or loop selected lines. You can change the loop mode by clicking on the green box that displays the current mode.
  • Auto Play can be enabled by pressing the loop icon on the audio bar (same icon as above) and then turning on Auto Play, this automatically starts playing the next doa of the section once the current doa finishes. This allows for a hands-free user experience on the app.
  • The Library search bar allows you to search for a specific doa by typing its name either in English or Arabic.
  • Doa Switching: While on a doa, clicking the green bookmark on the top left of your screen displays a selection of doas that are in the same subsection. This way you can switch to and from doas without having to leave the doa screen.
  • Now Playing Command Center offers seamless, hands-free control of your media across lock screen pop-ups, smartwatches, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
• Hijri calendar with corresponding Gregorian calendar dates; complete list of all Miqaats (e.g. Lailatul Qadr) linked to Amal Details including wasila and waaz, niyyats, doas, qasidas, marsiya
  • Clicking on a Miqaat from the calendar redirects you to the respective amal details page on the Fatemi Dawat website. Furthermore, you can select the categories of Miqaats you want to enable by clicking on the Settings icon on the top right corner of your screen.
  • Personal Events can also be added to the calendar by clicking on More > Personal Events on the navigation bar.
• Event & Miqaat Updates: clickable image tiles leading you to the latest events and miqaats.
