Syedna TUS Doa Message on Sad Demise of Pres. Abdul Kalaam

Syedna Qutbuddin TUS is much saddened by the passing away of President Abdul Kalam. He not only attained great heights of achievement in the spheres of science and technology, but was also tireless in the service of the nation, in the space program, the nuclear program and not least as President of India from 2002-2007. Even post his presidency, until not only the day, but the very moment that he passed away, he continued tirelessly to travel and work towards spreading the message of achievement through education and hard work, and the message of peace and harmony among all the diverse peoples of India and the world.

Syedna Qutbuddin TUS prays for the late President, and that his memory may live long and serve as an example of achievement and service to the nation and mankind for all Muslims and all people of India.

While in office, President Abdul Kalam especially came to Saify Mahal to meet Syedna Mohammed Buhranuddin RA in 2003. On that occasion, he also offered greetings to Syedna Burhanuddin RA on his 92^nd Birthday.

Recently, in February 2015, Shz. Dr. Aziz bhaisaheb met with Dr. APJ Kalam at his residence in New Delhi (click here to view photos and read details) and conveyed the greetings of Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS and his vision for education for the Dawoodi Bohra Community. Dr. Kalam enthusiastically engaged in discussion about Qutbi Jubilee Scholaship Program (QJSP) and offered his insights and advice from years of experience. He communicated later through email that he would be “available for the QJSP for any advice or suggestions” and conveyed “his best wishes to Respected Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin, Head of the Dawoodi Bohra Community and all the members of the community.”
