Support and Prayers for People of Kashmir: Syedna’s TUS Doa and Contribution

As the Du’at before him Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS has and continues to pray for Muslims and raise the Minarets of Islam through his actions and deeds. To protect Islam is an obligation of every Muslim. At a time when millions of Muslims are suffering it is our obligation to support them.

Syedna TUS prays for the alleviation of the suffering of Muslims and all the people of Kashmir following the worst flood in 103 years in the Jammu & Kashmir region.

In the wake of the ensuing humanitarian crisis in Kashmir, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS has contributed to the Jammu & Kashmir relief efforts through Pragya (www.pragya.org), an NGO dedicated to the development of remote & disadvantaged regions in India. With two field officers coordinating efforts from Srinagar and Jammu, Pragya is reaching out to flood-victims in Jammu, Riasi, Kulgam, Srinagar, Pulwama, Budgam, and Anantnag districts, which are among the worst affected. Emergency relief material is being dispatched to Srinagar by air and to Jammu by road. Pragya staff in Jammu and Srinagar along with local partners are organizing material distribution at different relief camps, community kitchens, and medical camps. The Mobile Health Unit of Pragya is being geared up for conducting health camps in the area as well.
