Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS began the third waaz by extolling the virtues of the day of Jumo’a (Friday), stating it is the 6th day that symbolizes the 6th Natiq Rasulullah SA. He narrated the various sayings of our Mawali Tahireen and urged Mumineen to avail of the multifold reward in praying salawaat and giving sadaqa (charity) on the day of Jumo’a.

Syedna TUS quoted the Qur’anic verse above, stating that it is irrational to believe God would command His prophet to sacrifice his own son, and explained its taweel meaning. Previous Duat Mutlaqeen instituted the tradition of the appointment of Ra’sul-Hudood-il-Mayameen; following in their steps, Syedna TUS appointed his noble brother, Janab Syedi Aziz Bhaisaheb Qutbuddin AAB to the position of Ra’sul Hudood.

Syedna TUS narrated the heart-rending shahadat of Imam Husain’s AS 6 month old son Ali Asghar in his own hands, and the shahadat of Imam Husain AS with intense sorrow. Mumineen felt as though they were seeing the events of Karbala unfold before their eyes.
