The example of Shuhadaa’i Karbala

'Syedna Qutbuddin RA advised that during the auspicious days of Ashara Mubaraka Mumineen should remember and mourn the sacrifice of Imam Husain SA and his Ahle bayt and Ashaab.'
(Surat Aale-Imraan: 169-171)
Syedna Fakhruddin TUS urges Mumineen that they should take sabaq and learn from the example of shuhada’i Karbala. The shuhada’ did not pay heed to material and worldly considerations and prioritized Aakherat and the khidmat of Imam-uz-zaman Husain SA.
There are many people who have in their hearts the mohabaat of Syedna Qutbuddin RA and Syedna Fakhruddin TUS, but because of worldly considerations or family issues, they fear revealing their feelings. In these days that we remember Imam Husain SA, how is it right not to openly stand with Imam Husain’s SA Dai? It is time to keep faith in Allah Ta’ala and take a stand. And let us pray that our brothers and sisters who have been lead astray are given tawfeeq by Allah Ta’ala to return to the right path. If not now, then when?
If we were alive in Imam Husain’s time, would we not stand with him? Today you are in the age of Imam Husain’s Dai, will you not stand with him? If not in these days of Ashara, then when?
When we leave this world, we leave alone. No family or friends can help us, that is what the Qur’an tells us. We alone face Allah Ta’ala on the Day of Judgment. We must be mindful of this when we carve our path. Remember Allah Ta’ala and Aakherat and chart your way lillah fillah. Follow the true path of religion by answering the call of Imam-uz-zaman’s Dai and stand with him.
As the ayat above states, those who are martyred fi sabilillah are not dead but alive in Aakherat in Jannat. The shuhadaa’ of Karbala are alive today, because of their unmatched sacrifice, because of their deeds and because of their stand for Haqq and Truth.
In these days in which we remember them, may we draw strength from their examples.
