In this month of Rajab, we are pleased to present Yaqutato Da'watil Haqq Shehzadi Dr Bazat Tahera Baisaheba’s article which was published in, “Self Transcendence and Virtue: Perspectives from Philosophy, Psychology, and Theology.” In this powerful article, Tahera bensab brilliantly and poignantly explains the relationship between piety and virtue according to the teachings of our Hudaat Kiram, especially Amirul Mumineen. Below is an excerpt from the article.

'In Ali's vision-as seen in this sermon and others-piety is what unifies the virtues, because all goodness stems from God. Virtues are not random acts of charity and decency, but rather, all are expressions of piety. God's love serves as a kind of capstone that integrates all virtues-if you truly love God, you will wish to please him by emulating his attributes, and his attributes represent the virtues.'

How can we help?
