Sijill One Year Anniversary

By the grace of Allah Ta’ala, the nazaraat of his Waliyy Imam-uz-zaman SA, and the doa Mubarak of Aqamola Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS, today is the 52^nd edition of Sijill. It is this weekly newsletter’s first one-year anniversary.

It is a most happy coincidence 52^nd issue of Sijill is released as we celebrate the Milad of the 52^nd Dai, our beloved Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA.

As we celebrate a full year of Sijill, we look back at the year that has passed the challenges that we have faced and the bounties that we have received in the last 52 weeks. We are thankful for both the challenges and the bounties. We are thankful for the challenges because they have strengthened our resolve and conviction. We are thankful for the bounties, because they have enriched our souls and raised our ranks in Jannat.

During this critical period in our history, Sijill has served as a historical diary and recorded all events, developments and milestones since Syedna Burhanuddin’s wafaat last year. Sijill has had the singular privilege of conveying the 53^rd Dai al-Mutlaq’s, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS, divine message of truth, guidance and love. Throughout the year, it has been the birthplace of various community building efforts and article series such as History & Biography, Nazaraat, Bayaan Highlights, Qasidas & Doas in translation, Ikhwanus-Safa, Women in Islam, Trade & Finance, Zakaat & Vajebaat, Legal Updates, News & Events and Amal Details. For the first time in the history of Dawat through the use of the internet, mumineen were directly guided in spiritual matters and were explained the relevance of these occasions. In these challenging times, Sijill has consciously been a positive and forward-looking force in the face of negativity and slander.

The Sijill team offers shukur to Aqamola’s TUS Hazrat Imamiyya for granting us the sharaf of this khidmat. The completion of these 52 issues is solely a result of Syedna’s TUS continuous doa and nazaraat. We commend and appreciate the efforts of all those who relentlessly devoted their time and energy to this project week after week. May we continue to serve our Dai and his Dawat, the Dawat of Imam-uz-zaman SA, with sincerity, integrity and conviction/devotion. We look forward to the next year!
