Just Leadership in Early Islam - the Teachings and Practice of Imam Ali

In this auspicious month of Rajab, we are pleased to present Yaqutato Dawatil Haqq Shehzadi Dr Bazat Tahera Baisaheba’s presentation audio recording, “Just Leadership in Early Islam: The Teachings and Practice of Imam Ali.” Shehzadi Tahera bensab gave this talk at an international conference co-sponsored by Wake Forest University and the Oxford Character Project in February 2019 at Wake Forest University.

This interdisciplinary conference brought together distinguished scholars and practitioners in the arts and humanities to explore new ways of understanding and imagining the theory and practice of leadership. In turning to classics, literature, history, philosophy, religion and the arts, this conference expressed a commitment to the engaged liberal arts and explored what we can learn about leadership by engaging diverse disciplinary perspectives.
