Syedna Qutbuddin TUS Eid-e-Ghadeer-e-Khum Waaz Highlights & Photos 1436H

04 October 2015

Following the tradition of Fatemi Dawat, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS led afternoon namaaz in Darus Sakina on Eid-e-Ghadeer-e-Khum (Thursday, 18th Zilhijja 1436H), performed wa’az mubarak, and took misaaq of mumineen.

In his eloquent and deeply meaningful wa’az sermon, Syedna Qutbuddin did bayaan of the excellent virtues of Rasulullah SA and Maulana Ali SA particularly focusing on Rasulullah’s nass-appointment of Maulana Ali at Ghadeer-e-Khum, the importance of the day of Eid-e-Ghadeer, and the great sawaab for roza and namaaz of Ghadeer.

He related from Ja’far us Sadiq Imam a unique bayaan that the Shia (=followers of the Imam) will have the felicity of seeing the radiance of both their Maulas— Rasulullah and Maulana Ali—together on a minbar on the day of resurrection, which is the same noorani manzar of Ghadeer-e-Khum. Their light will be reflected on their Shia, such that when these Shia arrive in paradise, its hoor-ul-een will be dazzled.

Syedna related an incident from his recent court testimony: Asked “What according to you is the significance of the word Maula?,” he replied spontaneously, “This is a very deep, significant and historical concept. The first Maula was Rasulullah, and he appointed Maula Ali as his successor, saying man kuntu maulahu fahaza Aliyyun maulahu - ‘For whomsoever I am Maula, after me Ali is his Maula.’”Syedna emphasized that the chain (silsila) of nass continues, one Maula after another, one Imam after another, and in his seclusion, one Dai after another. Like the Imam in this aspect, his dai is masoom (infallible), and the sahib he appoints as his mansoos is also in that same shaan of ismat (infallibility).

Syedna Qutbuddin narrated a personal incident from Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA’s era, when he had traveled to Ahmedabad with Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA—then Mazoon and Mansoos—for the urus of Syedna Qutbuddin Shaheed. Seeing Syedna Burhanuddin’s azeem shaanaat in waaz, bayaan, and ziyarat, Syedna Qutbuddin did araz to him—reciting Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s verse—that ‘This Maula (Syedna Burhanuddin) is exactly like that Maula (Syedna Taher Saifuddin)’ (maulan li maulan yudaahi).

In the present turbulent times, many people are confused and say “We believe in Syedna Burhanuddin and that is enough.” Syedna Qutbuddin asserted that your love for Syedna Burhanuddin is valid only if you also have mohabbat for his successor; your belief in Maula Mohammed Burhanuddin is valid only if you believe in the one whom he appointed his successor, the 53rd Dai, Maula Khuzaima Qutbuddin. One Maula follows after another Maula. The predecessor Dai’s charge is only fulfilled when he appoints his successor. Nass is required, and the silsila of Allah’s guidance must continue through nass. Syedna Qutbuddin declared: Syedna Burhanuddin performed nass on me; he himself has told me so, and I must and shall believe him.

Syedna Qutbuddin offered shukur to Imamuz-zaman for the great honor of serving as his Dai, and to his two wali-un-nemat predecessors, Syedna Taher Saifuddin and Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, who prepared him for the role and did nass on him. He urged mumineen to always offer shukur for the opportunity to do Dawat khidmat. He prayed with vasila of Maula Ali for nasre azeez and fathe mubeen.

Syedna recited pur-dard shahadat of Imam Husain and ended with heartfelt dua for all mumineen and their children. Reading Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s words from a Ghadeer waaz many, many years ago, Syedna prayed: “May Allah ta’ala fulfill mumineen’s wishes. May He grant long life to their children. May He safeguard their children’s imaan, as long as their line continues on earth. And may He keep this barakat flowing till the Last Day.” We add this heartfelt prayer: With the wasila of Ali Maula, may Allah Ta’ala grant our beloved Maula Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin longest life, and keep him always in perfect health and safety in His grace, favor, and protection. May He grant him Fathe Mubeen. Ameen.
