Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS Bethak (Private Audience) via Internet

23 September 2017

Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS continues in the tradition of his predecessors and will conduct weekly bethak audiences with Mumineen. Recognising the unique challenges of the time where Mumineen cannot always travel to be with Syedna Fakhruddin TUS personally, bethak via videoconferencing will be arranged on a weekly basis for Mumineen who wish to have an audience with Syedna TUS.

Mumineen will be able to attend these bethak and do arzi regarding any umoor (matter) directly to Syedna Fakhruddin TUS, and with full confidentiality. During the bethak, a two-way videoconference will be established.

This azeem ne’mat is made possible with the raza and under the direction of Syedna Fakhruddin TUS, and Mumineen should do qadr of this ne’mat by observing the adab and etiquette it deserves - the same adab and etiquette they would observe if attending bethak in person.

Mumineen should contact info@fatemidawat.com to request an appointment. Members will accommodate in the earliest available appointment

Access to the Dai is available for all Mumineen, and is not exclusive for a select few. This has always been a guiding principle of Duat Mutlaqeen, who held bethak (audience) with Mumineen not only for religious matters but also for the general welfare of Mumineen (behbudgi).

Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA used to hold bethak with Mumineen into the midnight hours, and for much of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA’s era there used to be regular bethak with full public access. During that period, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA would conduct bethak on the ground floor of Saify Mahal, and Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA – then Mazoon – would conduct bethak at the same time on the first floor of Saify Mahal. Mumineen would first gain the barakaat of qadambosi of their Dai, and then of his Mazoon and Mansoos.

It was in the latter years that certain elements sought to restrict access to the Dai to only those with influence – looking towards wealth instead of taqwa (goodness) and ‘ilm (knowledge).

After assuming the office of Dai al-Mutlaq, Syedna Qutbuddin RA, continuing the traditions followed by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and Syedna Burhanuddin RA, resumed weekly bethak with Mumineen – any mumin with the aqeeda (belief) that he was indeed the true successor of Syedna Burhanuddin RA.

How can we help?
