Majlis 34: "Where is Paradise?" - Syedna Fakhruddin TUS Majalis al Hikma Series

07 November 2020

We acknowledge in the supplication of our daily prayer that paradise is real – ‘innal-jannata-haqqun’. The Quran attests that “Allah calls towards paradise” – so where is the paradise towards which he calls?

Describing paradise Allah Ta’ala also says in the Quran “hasten towards your Lord’s forgiveness, and towards a paradise as wide as the skies and the earth, which has been prepared for the God fearing.” If paradise is as vast as the skies and the earth, why can’t we see it?

The Quran also describes paradise through symbols and similes in which it is pictured as a place that has rivers, fruits and having whatever a soul may long for. Does such a physical paradise exist? What do these symbols refer to?

Syedna TUS answers these questions in this Majlis, the 34th in the Majalis al Hikma series.

How can we help?
