- Majalis al Hikma
A thousand years ago, every Thursday, Syedna al-Mu’ayyad al-Shirazi RA answered the questions of his time in the Majalis al Hikma (Wisdom Seminars). Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS will answer the questions of today, in today’s language in a weekly video series entitled 'Majalis al-Hikma', to be published on the Fatemi Dawat YouTube channel in English, Dawat ni Zaban, and Arabic, and will be available as an audio podcast.
Syedna RA declared: The successor of the 51st Dai and 52nd Dai is amongst you, and on this day of Aashura, keeping Allah Ta’ala as my witness, keeping Imam Husain AS as my witness, and keeping Imam-uz-zaman AS as my witness, with the Qur’an Majeed in my hand – the Qur’an from which my bawajisaheb has prayed, that is with me, keeping that Qur’an in hand I declare to you that the 53rd Dai – the servant of Imam-uz-zaman – is Khuzaima Qutbuddin. The Truth is expounded upon in Syedna’s Qutbuddin's RA Qasida in two parts: the knowledge of Divine Truths (Haqiqat nu ‘ilm) and Syedna’s assertion of his position, the Dai of Imam-uz-Zaman. Click here to read further.
In the midst of the hurricane of events that we are going through, Syedna Qutbuddin TUS began composing his first Risalah Ramadaniyyah. The Risalah is titled ‘Barakaatu ‘irthi-du’aat’, (بركاتُ إرثِ الدُّعاة)– the Barakaat of the Heritage of the Du’aat. The numerical value of the title is 1435H (just as Bismillah is 786 and Ali is 110). Syedna explained that the word irth means wiraasat or heritage. In the Arabic lexicon, irth is defined more particularly as the inheritance of knowledge, while wiraasat is defined as physical inheritance. Click here to read further.
Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA was a beacon of light. It is befitting that Syedna Qutbuddin’s roza, as Syedna Fakhruddin TUS said, “shines for the people of the sky as the stars shine for those on earth.” To contribute, please click here. Mumineen participate in the khidmat of niyaaz and also contribute regularly to join in the sawaab of Mazaar-e-Qutbi Niyaaz. If you would like to participate, click here.

When you take a decision with conviction put your trust in Allah
(Surat Aali Imraan: 159)
This article was written by Shehzada Dr Aziz bhaisaheb Qutbuddin in 2014.
The Qur’an Majeed is the book of guidance. In such times we hold true the guidance given in the verse above. This applies to all situations in life. Syedna Qutbuddin has always advised us that when we are firm in our belief then we should move ahead with full conviction. Truth is the source of our conviction. Once our conviction is strong, then we must forge ahead with tawakkul and trust in Allah. Syedna Qutbuddin has taught us that with conviction it is up to us to do all we can, expend all efforts and leave no stone unturned. Then, it is up to Allah. The idea that we must do everything we can with a strong conviction and with full faith in Allah, is one of the most valuable lessons in life. In these days, for the sake of Da’wat, Syedna Qutbuddin is himself a manifestation of complete tawakkul and faith in Allah Ta’ala and his Imam. He is also leading by example that we must to do all we can for what is right with full faith in Allah. Fulfilling his responsibility towards Imamuz Zaman, Syedna Qutbuddin’s primary and sole concern is for the spiritual and temporal well-being of mumineen. His mission (Dawat) is to guide the community, as his predecessor Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin did, on the true path (Sirate Mustaqeem) of a spiritual and moral life that leads to salvation (Najaat) in the hereafter (Aakherat). Drawing strength from the verse quoted above, from our belief and from our faith in Allah, we must follow the example of our Dai and Maula and muster the courage to stand firm for what is right. The time for that is fast approaching. The time for that is now.
How can we help?
