“The faith of Rasulullah SA is good character, respect for humanity, and achieving success in this world and the Hereafter,” said Syedna Taher Fakhruddin Aqa TUS, quoting Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA. When Abu Talib AS, father of Maulana Ali AS described Rasulullah he said,: “Radiant--his face brings down rain. Refuge for orphans. Protector of widows.” Allah Ta'ala describes Rasulullah in His address to him and says, “Indeed you have the most magnificent character.”
Syedna Fakhruddin TUS emphasised that we must respect all people, no matter of what creed they may be, we must not look down upon any community or anyone. Syedna TUS recounted an instance when he was travelling from the Gulf Region to India in the time of Syedna Qutbuddin RA. A fellow traveller started talking to Syedna TUS in Arabi (assuming Syedna was Arab) very derogatively about Indians. After a short time Syedna TUS said to him that I myself am Indian, and speaking of others this way is not what Islam teaches us.
A Muslim is someone whose tongue and hand no other Muslim fears. Rasulullah said to Abizar, “When you give, give the best that you have.” Abizer asked, “What of those who cannot afford to give?” Rasulullah responded, when you cook, cook some extra to share with others. If that is not possible, help someone with good counsel. If that is not possible, then help someone with your physical strength. If that is not possible, then protect the persecuted. If even that is not possible, then at the least do not bring difficulty in the way of others.
Syedna Burhanuddin RA taught Mumineen that when you help someone do not hold that as a favour upon them, rather think that they are doing a favour on you by accepting your help. Syedna Fakhruddin TUS gave many other priceless wise counsel over the course of the waaz - itis impossible to recount all of it here.
Syedna TUS, as always, gave glad tidings to Mumineen. Syedna expounded on Rasullulah’s hadith: I [Rasullulah] and the Panjatan are a tree growing from the soil of the highest heavens, and our Shia are a part of that tree. Syedna TUS said that we have this honour because we are made of the soil of love for the Panjatan, Imams and Dais.
Syedna TUS recited a verse from Surat Fateh: “1) Mohammed Rasulullah, 2) and those who are with him, 3) are severe on malicious enemies, 4) are compassionate amongst themselves, 5) you will see them bowing and prostrating (in prayer) seeking grace from God and to please Him, 6) their faces have the signs of them prostrating (doing sujud).”
Syedna Qutbuddin RA expounded on the meaning of this verse and explained that is is about Panjatan Paak. . Syedna Fakhruddin TUS said,I, by ta’eed of Imam-z-zaman, will explain another meaning. 1) “Mohammed Rasulullah” signifies Imam Tayyib and “those with him” are the Du’at. “The compassion (rehmat) amongst themselves” refers to the ta’eed that the Dais receive from the Imam especially with regard to Nass. It also refers to one Dai appointing his successor, but also indicatinghis successor’s successor, or even further along the chain of appointment. Syedna TUS gave numerous examples. Some of which are: Syedna Ali (6th Dai) instructed Syedna Ahmed (7th Dai) to appoint Syedna Ali (8th Dai) as his successor. Syedna Shaikhadam was instructed by his predecessor to appoint Syedna Abuttayyib. Some people from Syedna Shaikhadam’s family objected, Syedna told them that by doing this you are breaking your Misaaq. Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s wishes were carried out by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA when appointed Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA as his successor.
Syedna TUS said,‘I, Taher Fakhruddin, am the fruit of Husain Imam's doa.” Syedna TUS prayed Syedna Muayyad’s noha, and the verse of Quran that laments the burning of the beautiful orchard: Would any one of you find acceptable that they would have a green orchard full of dates palms and grapevines, under which streams flowed, and one day they would become old, and their children would be young, and a wind of fire would blow over the orchard and burn it to the ground. If not for yourself or anyone else, then how would you accept this for the family of Rasulullah, the Ahlul bayt, where after Rasulullah calamity after calamity was wrought on them, culminating with Karbala.
Tears unceasingly flowed from our eyes, and our hearts continued to weep when Syeda prayed the shahadat of Rasulullah.
Aqa Maula TUS as always bestowed priceless jewels of dua for Mumineen. May Allah Ta'ala keep our Aqa Dai of Rasulullah in safety and health till Qiyamat, and keep Mumineen in his cool shade in prosperity and happiness always.
