Whosoever wrestles truth is knocked out by it – Maulana Ali AS
Maulana Fakhruddin started the waaz by addressing Mumineen as those who have answered ‘Haq ni Dawat’. He stated the Quranic ayat “for him alone is the Haq ni Dawat” (lahu da’watul haqq - 13:14) – this is the Dawat of Panjetan and their ahle bayt. Their Dawat is safinatun najaat (ark of salvation).
Maulana stated a hadith from Rasulullah that he prayed during the khutba in Ghadeer-e-Khum: “My Ahle Bayt amongst you are like Nuh’s safinah; those who embark in it will attain salvation, while those who do not will drown.” Syedna Mu’ayyad said that Nuh Nabi built this safinah because he knew about the oncoming toofan (storm). Similarly, Rasulullah warned people of the oncoming storm by stating that his ahle bayt are like the safinah of Nuh Nabi. Maulana prayed a bayt from Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s qasida which he wrote in shaan of Imam AS: “This Dawat of yours is fulkun najaat (ark of salvation)for us, it sails cutting through the waves of its enemies.” During the time of the seclusion of the Imam, it is their Duat who are the safinatun najaat. Maulana recalled Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin would often say that he has delivered several people to jannat and he even received confirmation, such was his closeness with the Imam. Then, Maulana said with josh (fervor)that he too is leading Mumineen to Jannat, “wallahe,towards jannat, inshallah.”
Maulana prayed many abyaats from the ala kitab‘Simt ul Haqaaiq’, authored by the 6th Dai Syedna Ali bin Hanzala. He explained their deep meaning to Mumineen:
We do hamd of Allah for the nemats he bestowed upon us.
He gave us tafzil (honor) over other ummats,by making us the ummat of Rasulullah, and giving us the nematof the Ali’s walayat.
Duatare fulk in the storm of bida (innovation) and gumrahi (ignorance/misguidance).
Duatare the ones who saved our drowning souls and brought them into existence.
May Allah grant Duat-us-Satr afzal-u- jaza.
Maulana recounted, almost 25 years ago, when Syedna Qutbuddin was in the USA for treatment and he was with him, Syedna Qutbuddin commented that Syedna Taher Saifuddin had memorized all abyaats, over 500 in total. Maulana Fakhruddin memorized the entire kitaab at that time.
Maulana did zikr of Syedna Qutbuddin when he performed his first Ashara at Udaipur, Syedna Taher Saifuddin prayed Quranic ayatiyyaka na’budu wa iyyaka nasta’een (1:5) – we worship Allah and we seek his aid. Syedna TUS advised to recite this ayat daily 110 times to ask Allah for help in all matters and to keep their intentions pure while undertaking them. Maulana commented that during Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s era, it was Syedna Qutbuddin that began the rasam of praying “wa behi, wa be waliyehi, wa dai he”, requesting aid from Allah, his wali (Imam) and added the last part, from his Dai too. Syedna Taher Saifuddin was extremely pleased with this.
Maulana quoted the Quranic aayat lahu da’watul haqq (13:14) again and said that Tayyeb Imam, who is saheb of zul umrain (two eras), kashf and satr, went into seclusion and his Duatare the ones who, in Daur-us-Satr,show us the anwaar of kashf by doing bayaan amongst Mumineen, especially haqiqat bayaan. Maulana did zikr in detail about aalam ul ibdaa and the firstcreation. He then prayed the Quran ayat “there is no inconsistency in creation” (67:3). He said that this ayat points towards aalam ul ibdaa.
Maulana did a nadir zikr of when Syedna Qutbuddin visited Fermi labs in Chicago, USA. The scientists were explaining to Syedna Qutbuddin how the world began with a small pea-sized atom and the big bang occurred. Syedna asked “where did that pea come from?” The scientist, understanding Syedna’s stature, answered “that you know better.” Maulana Fakhruddin praised them for seeking the knowledge of the universe but said it is not possible to attain the true haqiqat and understand the cause of creation through scientific methods alone. Why was it created is the fundamental question. The answer to that only our hudaat can provide.
Maulana stated that faiz from aalam ul ibdaa comes to the Imam, who is the best human, his position being like yaqoot (ruby) amongst rocks. He then did zikr of the first Imam and then went on to do zikr of all anbiya (prophets), beginning with Adam Nabi whose one son, Qabeel, murdered his other son and wasi, Habeel.He did zikr of Nuh Nabi’s son who did not accept his Dawat and did not enter the safinat. Nuh did doa to Allah Ta’ala to save his son, but Allah responded “he is not from you, he is not amalsaleh (a good deed).” In the zikr of Nuh’s safinat, Maulana said that Rasulullah is the Nuh of this daur. Maulana did bayaan of several other anbiya and the hardships they faced, especially those in Ibrahim Nabi’s daur.
Then Maulana recounted our daur, all the musibats that Aimmat and Duat had to bear in order to safeguard Dawat and Mumineen. Maulana emphasized numerous unique riwayats regarding the immense hardships Duat faced, both in Yemen and India. This safinah will keep sailing in the face of extreme fitnat.Finally, Maulana recounted the extreme difficulties faced by Maulana Qutbuddin and remembered Maulana’s conviction and sabr. After Syedna Burhanuddin’s wafaat, the storm (toofan) around Syedna Qutbuddin was like a hurricane. Syedna was in the eye of the storm where there was peace and calm. Syedna Qutbuddin was not anxious (koi fikar noti) because he was on Haqq. His only fikar was for Mumineen.
Maulana bestowed maw’izat (counsel) to Mumineen and urged them to spend their days preparing for the imminent hereafter. He quoted Maulana Ali that this world is a place of departure and gave a very relatable example: in today’s age, when we travel and stay in a hotel, we do not spend our time decorating the hotel room, rather we spend it productively by doing the work we are meant to do there. Similarly, do not spend your time decorating the life of this world, but rather spend it preparing for the hereafter.
Maulana prayed hamd, salawat, and bestowed doa on Mumineen. May Allah grant all your wishes and may he safeguard this safinat. May he raise the banners of truth and bring down the banners of those who go against Haqq ni Dawat. May you sit in this safinat with utmost peace and may you spend your life in bandagi,preparing your provisions for the hereafter. Maulana ended the waaz praying Ali Asgar and Imam Husain’s shahadat, recalling Syedna Burhanuddin’s marasiya of shaan, ‘Fulkul Husaine Be Karbala’. He did nasihat to Mumineen to do purjosh matam.
