With guidance and doa mubarak of Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS, on 17th December, 2017, the Zahra Hasanaat Medical Clinic Mandala in Govandi in partnership with “Doctors For You” was inaugurated by Shehzada Dr. Abdeali Bhaisaheb Saifuddin. The Govandi clinic has seen over 14,000 patients since its inception. The clinic provides the following medical services:
- Prenatal care
- Nutrition for lactating and new mothers
- Treatment and awareness of malnutrition amongst toddlers and small children
- Immunization for newborns
- Geriatric care and treatment
- Special focus on Tuberculosis
Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA founded Zahra Hasanaat Trust (ZHT) in Ramadaan 1417H. The ethos of the organization is to help Mumineen and Ibadullah by engaging personally with those in need to understand how to best support the individual and/or family holistically (e.g. medical, education, food, housing, counseling etc). Zahra Hasanaat has helped many many Mumineen and continues to do so with Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS doa mubarak and guidance and with the efforts of sincere and dedicated volunteers. ZHT focuses its efforts in low income urban areas, especially in the slums of Mumbai. In these very low-income households, even small medical expenses are sometimes unaffordable.
Doctors For You (DFY) is a pan India humanitarian organization founded in 2007 with international presence and is working in various disaster hit zones since last 9 years. DFY focuses on providing medical care to the vulnerable communities during crisis and non-crisis situation, emergency medical aid to people affected by natural disaster, conflicts and epidemics. The work of DFY is guided by humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, and neutrality. It offers services and assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, class, caste, religion and gender. They received the SAARC Award for 'Outstanding contribution to humanitarian works in the aftermath of the disasters’ for their Bihar Flood Response work in 2008. And they also received the prestigious British Medical Journal Group Award in 2011 for the 'Best Medical team in crisis zone'.
