Syedna Qutbuddin TUS lead Zohar and Asar Namaaz on the Arafa day, Eid ul-Adha Night and Day at Darus Sakina.
On Arafa day, Syedna TUS led Zohar/Asar Namaaz in Darus Sakina. After Zohar Faraz, the qasida mubaraka composed by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA during his Hajj safar “ya imamal ‘asri ya man ‘arafah” was recited followed by the doas of Syedna al-Mu’ayyad and Imam Ali Zainul Aabedin SA.
On the eve of Eid ul-Adha Syedna TUS led Maghrib/Isha and Washeq Namaaz and beseeched doa in a heartfelt wasila. Syedna began that this is the night of the day in which pilgrims of Hajj stand on Jabalur Rahmat on the plains of Arafa in the heat of the sun. Syedna TUS then said that though we are far from those plains physically, we stand on the Arafa of ma’rifat and acknowledgment of Allah’s waliyy. It is with that ma’refat that we seek forgiveness and beseech doa on this Mubarak night. Syedna added that in the time of the Imam’s seclusion the Dai represents Jabalur-rahmat on the plains of Arafah as it is the Dai through whom mumineen achieve the ma’rifat of the Imam.
Taking the wasila of Panjetan paak, A’immat Tahereen and Du’aat Mutlaqeen and those whom these auspicious miqaat represents, Syedna TUS beseeched much doa for all mumineen. Syedna prayed in particular for the safeguarding of the Dawat of Imam uz-Zamaan SA and for mumineen to receive and be thankful for Allah’s ne’mat and bounties (See Sijill Article "The Philosophy of Shukur - Giving thanks").
On Eid ul-Adha day, Syedna TUS led Fajr and Eid Khutba Namaaz in Darus Sakina. After reciting the doa of Imam Ali Zainul Aabedin in the Mihrab, Syedna beseeched doa in a heartfelt wasila in which he enlightened mumineen as to the significance and meaning of Eid ul Adha and qurbani. Syedna began the wasila by explaining that we observe this Eid with the ma’rifat and knowledge of the living, animate and speaking Eids (a’yaad hayya naatiqa) that these days represent. After enlightening mumineen with the elevated position and maqaam of those these days represent, Syedna took their wasila and the wasila of Panjetan paak, A’immat Tahereen, Du’aat Mutlaqeen and their Hudood Mayameen and beseeched doa for mumineen. Syedna prayed:
“Ay parwardigaar - o lord, safeguard the sincere mumineen who have answered the Da’wat of Imam uz-Zamaan and grace them with good fortune and prosperity (abaad-shaad), grant them multifold barakat in their families, their wealth and their business. May they remain happy in their homes. May every mumin, mumina and their children remain in happiness and bountiful ne’mat. May they remain in Allah’s protection and hifazat. May they live in tranquility and sukoon. May they live a life of joy. May husbands and wives live together with love for each other, caring for each other, raising their children with affection and shafaqat. The greatest joy is that mumin’s child is a mumin like him. Ay parwardigaar – o lord, drape our bodies always with the clothes of health and sehhat, heal and grant shifa to those amongst us who are unwell, and grant rehmat to those from us who have passed away. Fulfill a mumin and mumina’s wish of marriage, may they see that eid. And by the wasila of Imam Husain SA fulfill a mumin and mumina’s wish for a child. Grant us and our children the wealth of imaan and keep our feet steadfast on the straight path, on siraat-e-mustaqeem.
By the wasila of Eid and the hallowed Imam it represents, Syedna TUS particularly prayed for aid in the current court battle and for Nasre-Aziz and Fathe-Mubin.
These are only but a few highlights from Syedna’s heartfelt wasilas and doas. May Allah Ta’ala answer those prayers for us and may He grant Syedna longest life in full health.
Syedna also did qurbaani after Eid Namaaz and graced Eid Khushi Majlis in which Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s RA qasidas “ya imamaz zamaani ya man adha” was recited. As per tradition, mumineen were also served qurbaani gosh in the Majlis and received the sharaf of qadambosi of Syedna TUS.
As per Syedna’s guidance and irshaad and under the auspices of Zahra Hasanaat, meat from the qurbaani on Eid day and the day following Eid was distributed by the members of Hizbe-Khalilullah in over 3000 homes of mumineen and muslimeen.
