In the tradition of the 51st Dai Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and the 52nd Dai Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA, their successor the 53rd Dai Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS started the composition of his new Risalat Sharifah, Faiz ud Du’aat il Abraar (1436H) in Shehrullah al-Mo’azzam. The Risalat begins with this Tahmid: “Praise God, who guided us to his praise and thanks, and gave us tawfeeq—during the hours of the night and the day—for his tasbeeh and remembrance (al-hamdu lillahhil-lazi hadaana li-hamdihi wa shukrih, wa waffaqana aanaa’al-layli wan-nahaari li-tasbeehehi wa zikrih).”
Syedna TUS also wrote a Munajaat prayer for Lailatul Qadar this year which begins, like his Risalat, with praise and thanks to Allah: “I call to you in munajaat, lord, offering you praise and gratitude—I pray to you, bowing down in your remembrance (unajeeka rabbi haamidan laka shaakira * wa ad’uka rabbi saajidan laka zaakira).”
Thirdly, Syedna Qutbuddin TUS composed a qasida mubaraka on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 1436H in the praise of Aimmat Tahereen beginning, like his Risalat and Munajaat this year, with the praise and thanks to Allah: “We offer Almighty Allah Praise and Gratitude * We worship him – Exalted be His name – and remember him (nahmaduhu subhanahu nashkuruhu * na’buduhu jallasmuhu nazkuruhu”.
The Risalat, Munajaat and Qasida are a manifestation of the ta’yeed, fayz and inspiration ever-flowing from the Imam to his Dai, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS. These compositions are a repository for the celestial knowledge that Syedna TUS has inherited from the 51st and 52nd Syedna. The literary beauty and harmony of the words complement the deep meanings within each verse and each line. These compositions teach us to recognize the high position of our mawali tahereen and demonstrate the sincere and noble values and sentiments of our Aqamaula TUS.
We offer gratitude in Hazrat Imamiyya for the barakaat of these compositions and tasneefat that show us a path to praise and pray to Allah Ta’ala and recognize the high position of his awliya’ kiraam.
