Letter from Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA to Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA – 1380H

26 February 2018

On the occasion of the second urus of Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA we are pleased to feature the English translation of the misaal sharif (written in Arabic) personally composed and handwritten by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA on 24th Rabi’ al-Awwal 1380H (1960), to Syedna Qutbuddin. Syedna Qutbuddin (at that time Shehzada Khuzaima Bhaisaheb) was then in Udaipur, where two months earlier he had performed his first Ashara wa’az. Syedna Taher Saifuddin was in Mumbai and personally composed the misaal in classical Arabic, writing it out in his own hand. It is the only letter he ever wrote in this manner to any of his children.
